Departing your hotel we make our way past Victoria Square, the grand boulevard of King William Street, and onto North Terrace that separates the city from the greenbelts – parks and gardens. Your guide will explain the history behind the Parliament house and State Library, as you take in the beautiful views of the River Torrens with its delightful garden banks. Next stop is at the National Wine Centre of Australia. Here we take an interactive wine experience tour where we find out about the history of wine and the role it plays in Australia’s culture. Experience the fine wine tasting with a private tour and three wines specially selected from the cellar reserve. Afterwards we enjoy a delightful lunch in the concourse café.
Heading slightly out of the city we make our way to Haighs Chocolates. Here we enjoy tastings of the fine Haighs chocolates, before moving around their famous store.
Reboarding the vehicle we enjoy a casual afternoon tea before spending the remainder of the afternoon at the Adelaide Central Market.
