Itinerary

Day 1:

  • A guide will meet the guests in Sydney for an early morning start.
  • The journey will take them north across the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Richmond, then along Bells Line of Road through Bilpin and Lithgow before arriving at Millthorpe.
  • Lunch is provided at Tonic Restaurant which has been awarded a chefs hat by the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide.
  • After lunch, guests can explore Millthorpe’s tiny boutiques and local arts & crafts stores before continuing to Orange where they’ll check into Byng Street Boutique Hotel located within a restored historic building with charm & luxury.
  • Dinner tonight is at a local restaurant in Orange showcasing local produce and wines.

Day 2:

  • Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before embarking on an exciting food and wine tour of the local area.
  • Start off with a 1 hour tasting at Colmar Estate Wines, where you can learn about the unique process of growing wines at 1000 metres above sea level.
  • Lunch is served at Ross Hill Wines, with scenic views from The Pantry and local produce accompanied by wines.
  • Travel along Banjo Patterson Way to Dubbo in the afternoon, checking into The Cattlemans Motor Inn – close to restaurants and pubs for dinner tonight at Old Bank Bar & Restaurant.

Day3:

  • This morning, guests will be taken on an immersive tour of the Royal Flying Doctor Service to view the live Operations Room and tarmac.
  • After that, they will visit Saddler and Co., a local leather producer with timeless designs for unique handcrafted goods beofre enjoying a local lunch.
  • Later in the day, we make our way to Callubri Station – one of Australia’s most unique farm stay venues set across 28 000 acres steeped in family history since 1878.
  • Guests are accommodated in Sky Suites offering luxurious furnishings including Executive Supreme Pillow Top beds and ensuite bathrooms with heated towel rails.
  • In the evening, enjoy a chef prepared outback dinner  followed by relaxation around an open fire pit under 1 million stars before heading back to cosy into their comfy beds for a good night’s sleep!

Day 4:

  • Enjoy a leisurely breakfast to the sounds of the Outback.
  • Take a tour of Callubri Station with its owners, exploring native wildlife and rugged terrain.
  • Enjoy Ploughmans Style lunch back at station before spending the afternoon relaxing or exploring further on foot.
  • Travel to another part of this 28000 acre property for sundowners as the sun sets over Western Plains.
  • Treat yourself to an epic 4 course dinner in a rustic wool shed, complete with chef prepared meals and matching wines under 1 million stars around the fire pit afterwards.

Day 5:

  • Wake up to a beautiful outback sunrise and enjoy breakfast before departing Callubri Station for Mudgee.
  • Along the way, make stops for coffee and lunch at an iconic Australian Pub.
  • Arrive in Mudgee mid-afternoon and visit Logan Wines’ stunning cellar door overlooking Logans Vineyard; sample some of their unique boutique wines such as Tempranillo and Pinot Gris.
  • Check into The Perry Street Hotel, located close to the main street cafes in the 19th century building which has been restored from its original use as a Mechanical Garage.
  • Enjoy dinner at The Oriental Hotel – established 1876 – with pre-dinner drinks in their Gin Bar followed by freshly cooked local fare from Ori Kitchen.

Day 6:

  • Your guide will meet you at 10am for a day trip to Mudgee, where you’ll explore the main street and visit Robert Stein Winery.
  • At Robert Stein Winery, enjoy a private tasting of their range of reds and whites made from local fruits.
  • Afterward, have lunch at the Zin House located amongst the vines at Lowe Family Wines. After lunch, your guide will return  you to Sydney, arriving by 6pm.

All entry fees and activities included in the itinerary, pick up and drop off from a designated location (arrangements can be made for different pick up locations), 1 night accommodation at Byng Street Boutique Hotel Orange, 1 night accommodation at Cattleman’s Country Motor Inn Dubbo, 2 nights accommodation at Callubri Station Nyngan and 1 night accommodation at Perry Street Hotel Mudgee. Alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages (apart from wine tastings) are not included in the tour. Travel insurance is highly recommended but not included. The Australian luxury tour is 6 days long. Pick up is at 7am on Day 1 from the Harrington Street entrance of the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney and drop off is at 6pm on Day 6, also at the Harrington Street entrance of the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney. Alternative arrangements can be made for additional pick-up locations including home address pickups.
